1. A Book Launch update.

2. An announcement about my new podcast.

Book Launch Update

Here's a quick status update for the Book 1 Launch:

• My goal is to release an eBook exclusively in Kindle Unlimited by Christmas, and then 'launch' it during the week between Christmas and New Years.

  • During the launch week the book should attain Best Seller status within its sub-genre.

  • After 90 days, I'll 'go wide' by publishing it on various platforms globally.

• Tomorrow I'm going to take advantage of Black Friday sales and purchase Atticus software for editing and formatting. Atticus will enable me to format this book and all future manuscripts for publishing.

Book Cover Design

• Last week I hired a professional marketing survey to select a final title from three options. The clear winner was "Birth Pangs of the End Times, with Casting the Devil Down as the subtitle.

• With a final title, I was able to send the information needed for the book's cover design. This coming week (by 12/6) I hope to get the book cover proofs back from the designer.

  • I’ll use the same book cover design for the eBook and print, audio, and hardcover versions.

  • Since this is Book 1 of a trilogy, the cover design for all three books need to be visually related, identifying it as a series.

Book Launch Team

This coming week I plan to email invitations to my top 20% active subscribers to be on my eBook Launch Team, along with a few new subscribers who've volunteered.

What do Launch Team members do?

• Buy Birth Pangs of the End Times at 99 cents

• Read it

• Write an honest review in Amazon and Goodreads

• Follow my author page in Amazon and GR

• Recommend Birth Pangs of the End Times to friends who read Christian prophetic fiction.

My New Podcast

Starting in next Friday's newsletter, I’ll include a podcast link. This podcast will include:

• Prophetic insights on relevant current events, as applicable.

• A brief status update about the current book launch.

• Ninety percent of the podcast will be an explanatory discussion from a topic in the Positive Apocalypse trilogy. This trilogy is a dramatization of theological topics—many of which challenged people. In the podcast, I’m going to refer to specific situations in the Positive Apocalypse, and discuss the theology behind them.

  • For example, in chapter 1 of Birth Pangs of the End Times, Katie is ‘shacked up’ with her doper boyfriend, gets pregnant, and has an abortion. I'm going to discuss what I think God's opinion is concerning cohabitation and abortion.

  • I'll talk about these topics from a Biblical perspective, which is very different from what most people assume about many things—including cohabitation and abortion. I promise, it won’t be boring.
