Her aunt condemned her sinfulness, resulting in Katie’s suicidal emotional collapse. Fortunately, Kataan’s pastor discovered her before hypothermia killed her, and his wife nursed Katie back to health. With Katie unable to stay in Kataan, the pastor arranged for Katie to return to Ketchikan to live with her Uncle Andy, and hopefully get a fresh start there.

Her first duty assignment is to a Forward Operating Base in a Middle East combat zone. She’s still studying local procedures so that she can be released to fly as copilot on medevac missions. Three of her fellow pilots adopted her and gave her the callsign ‘Poca.’

Eighty percent of the village responded positively. Other members of the 144,000 were experiencing similar results around the world. The Two Witnesses pronounced the first Trumpet judgment just before the earth passed through an asteroid field, raining down fire, destroying satellites, and turning oceans red with iron oxide. In response, the Antichrist concocted a story that these Christians were alien invaders, and he threatened to destroy every population center that included them.
